One word describes the debacle we saw today...PATHETIC. That might be a bit harsh for some people, but with the effort the Saints played with Id say its spot on. This season has been a mountain of disappointments but today was the worst of them all. After every loss weve been able to say we beat ourselves or without turnovers we win. Well today there were no turnovers and there were no excuses. Today we got beat and beat bad. Not sure what was going through the offenses mind, but down 17 with about 11 min left they had zero sense of urgency. They looked like they were just going through the motions. They moved the ball early, but couldnt get in the endzone. Then they could get any points with 1st and goal from the 3. Still they were only down 10-3 at half. Oh wait the defense gave up a 61 yard run with cincy trying to just get it to halftime leading to a demoralizing FG. After getting the score to 20-10 on the first play of the 4th a Ray of hope fell on the Dome. The defense had Cincy at 3rd and 18 from their 12 and the Dome could feel the momentum leaning our way, but of course a 38 yard play and a TD a few plays after and the game was over. The game not the season. As ridiculous as it seems the Saints are in a tie for first place and in complete control of their own destiny. Are you happy or proud of that? Im glad were in it, but realistically this team is going nowhere even if we win the division by default. I just dont see the right leadership or heart on this team. Its nothing against the guys we have, but theres no voice besides Drew as a leader. Somebody has to get the attitude that they wont let us lose. The defense just looks lost. What I thought would be a strength is the biggest weakness. Our secondary is a total mess, and just cant understand how Jean-Baptiste can be any worse than Dixon or Ball. The offense is very predictable and very inconsistent. Drew is running for his life at times and today at least there were no holes to run through. We dont even attempt to run screens, and Jimmy Graham more concerned with his stupid celebrations than about winning. Finally like I said before Im happy we are in contention, but I dont see them going anywhere. I still think we are the best team in the division and will ultimately win, but at some point we will have to win some games. Will you be happy winning a division and hosting a home game? I wont! This was the most talented team in Saints history. They havent lived up to expectations and its o. Payton and Brees to fix it. Big game Monday Night again in the Dome. Hope they come out a little better prepared than they were today. As always your comments and likes and appreciated. Id love to hear what you guys think the problems are, because I sure dont have any answers for what weve seen the last 10 weeks. Who Dat and heres to starting the season all over come Monday Night. Its a 6 game season now #pulseofthewhodatnation #whodat #keepgrinding #faith
