One word to describe Chinese government: CONTROL. I came from China mainland and never been abroad before last year. However, still, I never understood the government in the past and also now. I am ashamed that Chinese Government is not keeping the promised two systems. But on the other hand, I can understand what they are doing: they just think they can turn Hongkong gradually into something else. Its just how Chinese bureaucracy. Maybe the guy who invented this two systems under one country was actually sincere, but he is long dead now. @Chinese students, Have you ever believed the so called election in China? Did you joined the Communist party even without believe in them? @People not from China, thank you for caring about China in whatever sense. From my point of view, there are three kinds of people regarding the altitude toward the government. Some think the government is doing alright in general because they still have something to be proud of, some think the government is ill but just choose to give up in fighting for a better country as long as they are happy themselves, some, I hope, is still believe in freedom and fighting to find a way out. And plus, CNN, its really not wise to mistake Guangdong province as Hong Kong, please be precise next time and make sure you know what you are talking about. AND, I hope I wont be on the traitor list of Chinese government because of this, I am on my fathers traitor list just because of being abroad though. LOL
