One year ago today, I woke up so excited! It was Brian & my first day off together in ages so we were going to go to the theater & watch The Lone Ranger (mmmmmm Johnny Depp in the BIG screen!!). I was so anxious that I was rushing Brian who seemed to be taking forever tinkering with the bike! Cmon! I dont wanna be late! Were always late!! We got to the theater in plenty of time, got our drinks & popcorn & took our seats. The movie was great of course. It was still early so we stopped by Walls to see if they had any boots that I would like but of course we didnt find any so we decided to head home. We were going through Lone Grove when I saw the pick up pull in front of us. All I could do was wrap tightly around Brian & say, Oh Dear Jesus! Then it was a blur of faces& voices, pain & fear. Its been a long hard recovery & we will never walk or think the same again. I still get nervous while riding in any kind of traffic but I refuse to let something take away a part of me that I love. So when Im frequently asked, Do yall still ride?, theres no hesitation when I answer, Of course!! Thats who we are! Have a blessed day everyone! & watch out for bikes!!!
