One year ago tomorrow, we closed on our house. Probably one of the happiest days of my life. Our dear friend, Carla Baker, who passed away on February 18, came here to our house that night and sat with us in the dark by candlelight and we sat in the only furniture we had here at the time - 3 chairs. She told me she couldnt wait to have Christmas here. What a difference a year makes. Tomorrow night, we have no plans other than to stay home but I will reflect on both how wonderful and how difficult 2014 was in so many ways. I suppose every year is like that. Through it all, God has been incredibly faithful. I pray we all have a wonderful and loving 2015 and that we show the world what goodness and kindness really mean. No drinking, no partying, just gratitude for all that was accomplished. Love all my Facebook friends!
