Only know how to grow. I found this plant for 5 dollars on a deathbed discount 4 months ago. Riddled with pests sucking what little life it had left, and its roots rotting and smelling as if it had already given up the ghost. But I planted it anyways. It was a terrible spot to plant, with too little sun and soil leeched of all its life giving qualities many years ago. However, its leaves stayed green and nature offered a helping as lady bugs cleaned away the pests and a steady rain soaked its roots. It did not grow, but neither did it wilt away. A peaceful rest it had for nearly three months before it began to grow again. Then a two week drought sent it back into its shell. All its leaves fell off, no signs of life remained. But its branches stayed supple as it slept until the rains came, and tiny leaves sprouted to my surprise. Then yet again, another 2 week drought robbed it of any progress. Again it sat with only its bones to show it was still there. Then the rain came, and beyond belief again it grew from seeming death. It knew not how to give up. It only knew how to grow. Rains will come and leave, your enemies may feed on your successes and relish your struggles, and your roots may not be firmly planted. However, if you only know how to grow, nothing can stop you.
