Only sympathetic Vegans reply please, I am feeling down and I dont need to be criticized by my own people. I have been Vegan for 4 years now (since I was 15), Ive made my share of mistakes, but I have never slipped up on purpose. I have always held strong onto what I believe but lately it seems like no matter what I do it is wrong or expensive. As I get older and fall further into poverty and the verge of homelessness I am scared that Veganism isnt for me. I dont want to give up but I feel selfish spending 5-10$ on one meal of canned or fresh beans and veggies or rice when my roommates spend that much to feed themselves for 3 days. I do not live near a farmers market, I cannot start a garden, I do not have a car and the only grocery stores within walking distance are WalMart and a Kroger further away. (Those are both at least a 45 minute walk along highway.) And no, I cannot move. I just dont know what to do...
