Onuma, if ur write up is music, I would have started dancing it like these ones who have tagged that they like it. But for someone like me who understands politics in Nigeria better, I choose to deassociate myself from such prejudice as d points u elicited in ur write up. Initially, I did not want to reply this piece so that it wont seem like I am a PDP member. But I am compelled to now. To begin with, u accepted that ur Igbo brothers refusal to accept a notherner, is understandable. So why dont u speak reasons rather than see reasons. Lolz. I have questions. From d begining, b4 GEJ even assumed leadership position, d north started fighting him. Asking and mouting pressure on him to resign. What was d reason? Was it cos all of them were prophets and knew that GEJ was destined to fail? Is it not d same sentiments u accuse us of ? Was it not cos they wanted power kept in d north perpetually? Cos they are born to rule and others are born to serve? Ok. Why did boko haram suddenly grew monstrous soon after statements where made that this nation will be made ungovernable? Was that statement made when Yaradua was in power? Even when he was incapacitated for over six months, which was a clear breech of d constitution( which I believe u will call corruption if it were a southerner in that was in power), did u hear that impeachment move was made in both d upper and lower chambers? Why was such breech condoned? Cos the owners of power still had power. Common my guy sit up.When u answer these questions, I have more questions. My brother, I am not antagonising u. I am only trying to make u speak reasons rather than see reasons only. I am not sentimental but a realist who understands d politics of this great country joined together for colonial fathers selfish reasons. Lolz.
