Ooh, this is bad stuff. Some important Active Self Protection lessons here, and there is no good guy to cheer. :( How would you have responded if you were the young guy? Lessons: 1. Notice in the beginning that the young guy was more concerned with putting his iPad away than getting punched in the genitals. Not a great idea. If you can, keep your stuff protected enough that you can drop it if need be to protect yourself. 2. What is up with the older man just deciding to junk punch some guy? People are crazy. Never forget that people are crazy. 3. The guy got upset. I get it. When your wedding tackle is throbbing from pain, that can make a man do stupid things. But we must all cover our ASP to the point that we can work through the pain and keep thinking and keep our wits about us. Beating an old man and kneeing him unconscious will likely get him some jail time and an assault conviction. 4. Once again, PUT THE PHONE DOWN AND HELP. Forget your YouTube stardom. Step in and help defuse the situation. Attitude. Skills. Plan.
