Open discussion for those who identify as white. Examine our positions in todays political movements within the context of whiteness serving as a socioeconomic class which divides and conquers resistance from the PAST to the Present. Where is our place in history? What is our place in this world? In what way does this affect others and ecosystems? How do we unlearn a settler mindset and fight white supremacy every day? Lets set aside some time to discuss what our role should be in support of the movement building off of the fact that #BlackLivesMatter and analyze how our white privilege prevents us from resisting with black, indigenous, and oppressed communities. These are our responsibilities to one another as folks who have benefited from white supremacy our whole lives. Please invite friends you believe are ready to have some difficult conversations. This will hopefully be the first of a series of discussions.
