Open letter to the Lebanese government and the minister of transport and public works...we want sufficient lighting on our dark roads... Hello! Yesterday, I went for a ride to Jbeil and back to Beirut. The highway starting somewhere from Jounieh and all the way to Jbeil was DARK!! Not a single highway light was on. Everyone had their high headlamps on and I couldnt see a thing.. all the way I was fighting and cursing to people and the strong lights almost drove me blind I couldnt see where I was going... this is the main reason why accidents are happening daily.. I have no idea what people should do and why we are being put under new driving rules and all of that nonsense if our highways are as dark as hell :S :S what to do?!! written by Nshan Karaoghlanian
