Open message to Maxim and Ivan Korablev-Dysons (I kindly ask all Peter Dyson’s friends to read this message. Those of you who know Mr. Korablev-Dysons’ contacts, could you please kindly deliver it to them, as they may not attend their Facebook pages, and this message is important and urgent. Peter does not want to deliver it to them himself, you will understand why after reading it.) Hi Maxim and Ivan! I am Peter Dyson’s wife. You are his official sons, therefore in this message I shall call Peter “your father”. The ISSUE is: You have required that your father would remove his literature from your home NOW. With this respect your father asked, and St.Petersburg Conservatory kindly agreed to accept all his musical literature as a gift. Your father told me he needs to arrange the LOGISTICS. Unfortunately he does not have time for it: you will read the reasons later in this message, and also he has many other important things to do, therefore here is the LOGISTICAL PLAN for yourselves to follow it in order to empty your own living space: Step 1. SORTING You sort out all his literature yourself, as follows: musical literature – to one side, non-musical literature – to another side. I am sure you are able to make such sorting: both of you are educated people and can distinguish musical and non-musical literature. Step 2. LABELING Prepare in advance LABELS to stick on each package with information about the contents. All labels together must be united in one file, which will be the full description of the musical collection. Before printing out the labels and sticking them on the packages send them to your father in the electronic form to check if all is right. If mistakes found, please take care to correct them before labeling. Step 3. PACKAGING You pack up yourself all your father’s musical literature carefully and accurately. Please make nice wrapping - it is a gift to the Conservatory! It is a very big lot, but you need to do it NOW, according to your own requirement and the following it arrangement with the Conservatory. Stick the prepared labels to each pack accurately. Step4. DELIVERY TIME MANAGEMENT You coordinate the DELIVERY TIME with your father. This should define when you are going to bring the musical literature to the Conservatory, so that all three sides of this logistical operation are available and comfortable with it. Step 5. TRANSPORT You hire a vehicle for the AGREED TIME with your father (Please take care to do everything well in advance not to be late in the Conservatory at the agreed by all time!) Step 6. DELIVERY and ACCEPTANCE You deliver your father’s books to the Conservatory yourself in good condition, and there you meet your father and give all packages with books to him in SAFE STATE, so that he can pass his books to the Conservatory nicely. Step 7. OTHER OPERATIONS You return home and pack up all the rest of your father’s literature. Mark each package with information about the contents. Full description separately is necessary too. Send electronic version to your father in advance for checking. If you are not willing to do things NOW for these remaining non-musical books, you can change your requirements and keep them for another 6 years or so, but musical part must be done NOW. It is already arranged with the Conservatory. If you need my advice further on, do not hesitate to contact me. Now one more ISSUE: Tomorrow your father starts the course of radiological cancer treatment in the St Petersburg Oncology Hospital on Berezovaya Alleya street. The treatment will last until the end of October, the sessions will take place every day. A Russian speaking person MUST be there every day to QUICKLY translate the medical sisters’ commands. The doctor said that the presence of a translator is necessary EVERY DAY until the end of the treatment. Since I knew that, I saved the rest of my paid vacation for these events. It will allow me to be there every day until the end of September, which is 2,5 weeks. After that I shall have to take the leave at my own expense. With this respect I kindly ask you to pay attention at the following logistics as well: Both of you have got good English education and can continue attending the hospital with your father every day, for 2,5 weeks each of you, STARTING IN OCTOBER. If you have already used your regular paid vacations, you can also take your unpaid leaves at your own expense. In such case you can discuss with me the split of October to three periods of our leaves, so that we take turns in having unpaid vacations. It’s alright to contact me via your father, if you prefer so. Looking forward for your prompt reply and positive actions, thanks in advance. Olga
