Opening in early fall, to be housed in a majestic historic home owned by The Women’s Club of Red Bank, the mission of The Hope House of Red Bank will provide individual and group counseling; health, wellness and fitness programs; nutrition and cooking classes; art therapy; social activities; resource library; and much, much more to those of all ages with cancer, their families and care givers. This will be a community endeavor—staffed, supported, sponsored and facilitated by community volunteers: friends and neighbors donating their time and services to their friends and neighbors diagnosed with cancer. The Founders and Friends of The Hope House of Red Bank are joyfully looking forward to providing the Monmouth County, NJ community with a TRUE community service—unencumbered by an attachment to a national bureaucracy far, far away—where the creativity and entrepreneurial spirit of people IN the community will be encouraged and welcomed to play a role FOR the community in what will absolutely be a fantastic cancer community center of support and encouragement; care, comfort and compassion; all focused on Health, Healing and Hope. Renovations will begin shortly, and we can’t wait for the doors to open. We will be shutting down this Facebook page and migrating over to a new one.
