Operations Counts. The initial operations check. 1- Check that all pressures and temperatures for lube oil , fuel oil, cooling water, and charge air are normal. 2- The engine spped is fully controlled by PLC when the selector switch ( S1) is in Auto - position. The PLC controls the engine according to the speed drop or voltage drop modes. 3- The generator control mode change automatically from voltage mode to P.f ( Power Factor) mode after the engine started. The following conditions are fullfilled:- 1- Auto mode is selected switch ( S1) 2. The generator is connected in parallel with the grid. 3. The generator circuit breaker is closed. Operating Conditions 1- The turning gear is disengaged. 2- The fuel oil system is activated ( 1- Correct pre-heating & 2- Correct pressure). 3- Sufficient pre- circulation to heat the fuel injection pumps. This is operator duty to take all the measures mentioned above into his responsibility.
