#Opinion REPLACING “BLAME GAME “WITH “NEW GAME PLAN” By Dr. Daniel Kandagor I want to remind my critics that the “Son of the Soil” is not interested in contesting for Baringo South Constituency seat come 2017. I also want to remind my critics that there is not much gained by laying blame on each other over matters of insecurity in Baringo County. To preoccupy ourselves with finding fault is different exercise than figuring out what went wrong in order to solve the insecurity challenges facing Baringo County. As leaders we have a duty of either politicizing insecurity or working for peace-lasting peace. The leaders must understand that the ordinary people of Silale, Mukutani, Arabal, Loyamorok, Kisirian, Ng’elecha, Tirioko, Ramacha, and Ribkwo have spoken their desires. They want a life that is secure; they want a voice and a chance to be heard; they want their children to be educated; they want to be safe. Rather than charity, they want to contribute to better their own lives and by themselves. In these words, leaders must find their task. The task has challenge of management, the challenge of leverage, the challenge of resources, the challenge of uniting the residents of Baringo County and not the challenge politics of “Blame Game”. The people of Baringo County need peace more than petty politicking. I stand for peace and not for politics. Message from the Son of the Soil Dr. Kandagor is the Director Mt. Kenya University, Kabarnet Campus.
