Opinion polls ki pol Pimped up opinion polls are desperately trying to change opinions of people. Nobody knows what the sample sizes are, no one knows what sampling frame, what relative error and why is it that based on past elections, we can say with 90% confidence that these polls will not make any sense in retrospect. Thats why no one could predict the defeat of India shining hawa last time and no one could predict AAP upset in Delhi. I think if one compared these pollsters with street guesses, an average of last 3 elections and tarot card readers, theirs will have the lowest correlation to truth. Now sample surveys with all their limitations are still a scientific discipline, but in the hands of sold out media charlatans, they become more like Bhaat-Chaaran jobs with a mascara of science.
