Opportunity for aspiring grant writers: Perhaps you or someone you that know might be able to assist me with a very good cause. I am looking for suggestions on obtaining volunteer grant-writing and perhaps other non-profit management assistance. Here are the details: My friend (and a terrific guy) is the Rev. Jonathan Ford, who leads a small and dynamic church in West Philadelphia called Taylor Tabernacle. Since 2000, Taylor Tabernacle has operated a related non-profit organization called Turning the TIDE, where TIDE stands for “Technology and Information Delivered for Empowerment”. Their mission is to have a positive social impact on the community and its residents, initially by providing technology training and other workplace skills, but also through social and healthcare-related programs. Turning the TIDE previously had access to capable grant-writing skills, but that is not currently the case. If you have any suggestions or can personally assist us, please let me know. Many thanks.
