Successful candidates will have experience in Oracle 11g, Data Guard, PL/SQL, scripting languages, database performance tuning, and database backup and recovery. The DBA must be able to successfully perform tasks in a fast-paced schedule driven environment. Responsibilities will include the design, development, integration, and test of data access layer, database components, and the integration of commercial applications into a Service Oriented Architecture. Individual tasking covers all phases of the software lifecycle for database components including software requirements analysis, design, code, test, and integration as well as database administration, database/query performance analysis, and tuning.
