“Order and Proper Delegation Produces Revival” (Acts 6:1-7) “The revival that happen in this sixth chapter of the Book of Acts was a by-product of the order and proper delegation done by the Apostles in the early church. “Now in these days when the disciples were increasing in number, a complaint by the Hellenists arose against the Hebrews because their widows were being neglected in the daily distribution. And the twelve summoned the full number of the disciples and said, it is not right that we should give up preaching the word of God to serve tables. Therefore, brothers, pick out from among you seven men of good repute, full of the Spirit and of wisdom, whom we will appoint to this duty. But we will devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the word. And what they said pleased the whole gathering, and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Spirit, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolaus, a proselyte of Antioch. These they set before the apostles, and they prayed and laid their hands on them. And the word of God continued to increase, and the number of the disciples multiplied greatly in Jerusalem, and a great many of the priests became obedient to the faith.” The bible says in the midst of the revival going on there was also a problem of complaints from the Hellenist arose against the Hebrew believers about the distribution of the food because their widows were being neglected. Noong nalaman ang kaguluhan ng mga 12 Apostles agad-agad sila ay pumili ng dapat gumawa ng gawaing ito para naman sila ay di nila mapabayaan ang Salita ng Diyos at pananalangin. PumilI sila ng pitong alagad na puno ng pananampalataya at Banal na Spiritu upang mamahala sa gawaing ito. Makikita natin na maging sa pagpapakain lang sa mga balo ay kailangang mayroong mataas na qualification at ito ay kapunuan ng pananampalataya at puspos ng Spiritu Santo. Pero alam natin na dilang ganon ang ginawa nila sapagkat ilan sa kanila ay eventually naging mga Evangelist at nangaral ng Salita na may kapangyarihan at himala na kasama. Dahil sila ay nagkaroon ng kaayusan at tamang delegation makikita natin ang result sa talatang pito; “And the word of God continued to increase, and the number of the disciples multiplied greatly in Jerusalem, and a great many of the priests became obedient to the faith.” Ang Salita ng Diyos ay patuloy na lumago at ang bilang ng mananampalataya ay sobrang dumami sa Jerusalem. Ang isa pang revival na nangyari ay maraming mga pari ay naging tagasunod sa pananampalataya. This is revival! Just imagine even the priest became obedient to faith. This was the result of the order and proper delegation done by the twelve Apostles. Tandaan natin ito kapag ang ating mga simabahan ay walang kaayusan at tamang paglalagay ng mga tao sa kanilang lugar, hinding hindi makakaranas ng revival ang simbahan na iyan. Dapat may kaayusan at tamang paglalagay ng mga tao sa bawat ministeryo sa ating mga simbahan para maranasan natin ang naranasan ng unang Iglesia. Panahon na para ayusin natin ang ating mga simabahan at ilagay ang mga tao sa tamang mga kalalagayan nila para tayo naman ngayon ang makaranas ng tunay na revival sa ating mga simbahan.”
