Oscar Wegner and Pulling Across: (Shared on RTC, CTC) Wegner - TopicsExpress

Oscar Wegner and Pulling Across: (Shared on RTC, CTC) Wegner has great ideas but does always show them accurately. Pulling Across is a prime example of this. Most of the time when he demonstrates it he stops his forward shoulder rotation too early and he bends at his elbow for his arm to come across. This is not pulling across in my view. Instead, the shoulder rotates fully forward and then the elbow folds the arm across the body. In the following video Wegner sometimes does it accurately and other times not; whereas Randy Ardenfriend shows it accurately. Hitting Below Center: As for pros intentionally hitting below center. . .I have yet to see proof of that and find it doubtful. John Yandell did an article on Tennisplayer that could not find evidence of intentional below center hitting.
