Otto Blottos Adventure Walk: Hey Buck, Its me again, - TopicsExpress

Otto Blottos Adventure Walk: Hey Buck, Its me again, writing to tell you about the walk you generously provided another cute pup. The walk was originally scheduled for another pup who was no longer at the shelter, but she left a note saying her buddy Otto would love to go out in her stead. Ottos an adorable little pit bull, about 10 months old with a black coat and a bit of white on his chest. Hes also got some massive floppy ears that would put most bats to shame. He was thrilled getting out of his room, but got a little more timid when I was loading him up in the car. After assuring him it was alright he decided he loves car rides and seeing all the people moving around outside the car. Hes certainly a people dog, he wanted to meet everyone we saw at the park. I took him over to Belle Isle to have some fun and get some good pictures. We had our first little taste of wintery weather when we got onto the isle, just a few stray flakes and a small bit of sleet though. He looked awful cute with the little dusting of snow on his black coat though. We walked around the outset of the isle and stopped by a few spots down by the waters edge. He was very curious about the water, I dont think he has too much experience with it. We walked down to the dry rocks and he got to have a short greeting with a few other dogs and he was very polite about it. He was so excited that we couldnt stay too long though. We kept hopping around on the rocks for a bit before heading back to the main park. He really seemed to have a great time rock hopping, although he was a bit clumsy with it. Once we got back to the park we walked down to the tip of the isle to try for some photos with the cityscape in the background, and to enjoy the sandy beach down there. Our time was getting low around then so we crossed back over the bridge and walked down the road a block or two before heading back to the car for a short trip back home to the shelter. Again I want to thank you for your donations, they really mean a lot to these pups, and the photos just might help them to find a great home. I hope you have a wonderful new years!
