(Originally published Thursday, Nov. 6): Recently, many Florida Bar members took part in a free online webinar presented by the Young Lawyers Division entitled, Social Media Marketing 101: How to Use Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn to Promote Your Practice and Connect with The Florida Bar. The presentation brought many Florida Bar members out of their social media shell, so to speak, and introduced them to the power social media can yield in their every day practice and interactions with other legal professionals. Dozens walked away from the presentations starting Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn accounts -- and weve heard the results have been amazing. Now two weeks later, the webinar -- for those havent seen it -- can still be watched online (at your convenience) at the Young Lawyers Division home page, flayld.org. And weve also added it to the top of The Florida Bars social media page, floridabar.org/SocialMedia. The next YLD webinar on social media isnt far off. Stay tuned!
