Our 33rd anniversary was Friday September 19. Made dinner at home. Tom Harrington grilled the NY Strip steaks and I made oven toasted kale with sesame seeds and red pepper flakes, and garlic butter Yukon gold potato chunks. Ice cream with Godiva Dark Chocolate Liquer. A nice bottle of red wine. Today we rode the Harley to Aspen and had a great breakfast and then took a color ride to the top of Independence Pass. A bag piper stopped while we were at the top and serenaded all there. The colors were gorgeous. We did walk around Aspen seeing the sights for a while. It is always interesting to view the wealthy in their environment. Been around too many of the ultra-rich to be impressed. Feel sorry for them for their disconnect to the truly important things in life. Movie tonight in El Jebel - A Walk Among the Tombstones. Great day! Love you Tom.
