Our Annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner is Tuesday, November 26, 2013, from 6 pm-8 pm at the Bay County Community Center located at 800 John F. Kennedy Drive (on the west side of Bay City). PNC Bank is providing about 15 volunteers for the event. A private donor, a Bay County resident, has made a donation this year that covers the full cost of the meal. Continuing a wonderful tradition, food will be provided by Krzysiaks House Restaurant, located at 1605 Michigan Ave. in Bay City. The evenings menu includes traditional Thanksgiving fare like turkey, dressing, potatoes, vegetables, salad, and desserts (yes, there will be pumpkin pie!). The dinner is FREE to anyone, BUT WE ASK THAT PARTICIPANTS MAKE RESERVATIONS BY FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 22, by calling our office at 989-893-3041. Office hours are Monday-Friday from 9:00 am-12:00 noon and 12:30 pm-3:30 pm. If you know of someone (senior citizens and others) who often spends the holiday alone and they do not know about our Community Thanksgiving Dinner, please tell them about it!! We invite you to come in and sit down and enjoy the great food and conversation with your neighbors and friends!
