Our April Fools prank was not a success. We told the kids we were going to get a monkey to help around the house, and that it could take turns sleeping in their rooms. Then, as they started to get enthusiastic, we said, Your responsibility will be to clean up all of the poop that the monkey will throw around the house. Also, the monkey will probably destroy a lot of your things, but we are going to accept that and just make do with fewer toys and pretty clothes. Lemlem started to look dismayed, but Desus response was to nod in understanding, as if those conditions all made perfect sense. When we told them it was April Fools Day, Lemlem was disappointed and Desu was quite irritated and chastised us for the jokes unfunniness.
