Our Daily Word July 14, 2014 1 Timothy 5:18 For the Scripture says, YOU SHALL NOT MUZZLE THE OX WHILE HE IS THRESHING, and The laborer is worthy of his wages. To have the mindset of an Ox can serve one in the process of separating a frustration to ones minimum of wages in its lending of strength God provides a sturdy shoulder to lean on by his calling to work willingly onto Him at whatever you do. Those who obtain work from others, whether in the capacity of unpaid service or paid employment. Scripture sets out both the obligations and rights of employers in relation to those who work for them. One who attempts to muzzle their laborers in their quest for better wages shall receive what is due to them in this life. Though an honest reward for services rendered is commended by employers. Even though such reward is often deserved, it is not always given. But know this; the one who embraces the mindset and work ethic onto the Lord and not onto people will always have their needs provided in abundance. Colossians 3:23 Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. Have a great & blessed day in your practice my friend!
