Its a great time to be alive. It is amazing the scientific breakthroughs that we have witnessed in our lives. I remember the launchof the first astronaut which lead to man landing on the man, the introduction of the space shuttle and landing the rover on Mars. Who would have ever thought? Scientists have mapped the human genome (?) and cloned living organisms. Researchers have plumbed the deepest depths of the ocean and are discovering previously unknown organisms. Wow. Just when you think what is there left to discover or invent . . . but then on televison tonight I heard about another breakthrought that probably most people would thought would never happen. But it has happennd and you may not even have heard about it yet. The invention / discovery (not sure what they are labeling it) is called Tidy Light Yep, believe it or not, first there was Bud Light for the discerning beer drinker, now there is Tidy Light for the discerning cat owner . . . kitty litter that weighs in at a fraction of the weight of traditional litter but has all the same effectiveness and odor control. Ya Think? Will anyone step into this(sorry for the pun) totally unknown territory? Somethings are not meant to be. We will have to wait and see. It wouldnt quite be the same as splitting the atom, but my hat is off to the scientists that are using break through technology in unexpected places.
