Our Ebola Czar: Consider the following...in 2009, President Obama - TopicsExpress

Our Ebola Czar: Consider the following...in 2009, President Obama appointed a domestic jobs czar (Head of the Presidents Council on Jobs & Competitiveness) to oversee and stimulate the growth of new business in the U.S. His name is Jeffery Immelt, what? never heard of him? Well, he is CEO of GE (4th largest company in the world) and is responsible for consolidating their business, selling off non-high profit sectors and is building 2 multibillion dollar plants that will employ 65,000+ workers. There is a slight problem with all of this...that activity isnt happening here, it is happening in China...and when the move was essentially completed, the timing for outrage against companies moving offshore suddenly became an issue....focusing on those evil corporations that were going to, or are in the process of moving off shore. GE pays very little in taxes (they pay taxes ONLY for what is produced physically in the U.S.), and at the same time is able to avoid the increased health care laws that are not extendable to company sectors that operate off-shore. How does moving business and employment to China, as well as reducing tax base, contributions to the U.S. health care system, etc. help in OUR Jobs and Competitiveness? as always, read what is going on BEHIND the news, NOT what is being reported...because time and time again, we are being duped. I will predict this czar will be equally effective...
