Our Father, Please forgive me for being so grumpy as I trudge - TopicsExpress

Our Father, Please forgive me for being so grumpy as I trudge through the never-ending tasks set before me this holiday season... My to-do list seems to keep growing with shopping, church services, and family gatherings--- and Im running short of time! Restore the joy of Christmas to my heart . . . and help me to relax each day and make time for YOU-- my one true Source of Joy. Thank you for the blessings of another week in which we can serve you! Thank you for being the source of all truth and the knowledge that when we stand for truth that we are standing with you! Thank you for coming to this earth and freely giving your earthly life in order to redeem all those that trust you as our personal Lord and Savior! Lord God, we pray for all who sorrow and all who suffer physically as well as spiritually. We pray for your Heavenly Touch to descend upon them and heal their woes. Help us to be a blessing to someone today and in this Christmas week that You give to us. Let us be compelled to tell the story of Jesus and His love. Lord, We honor our Southern ancestors when we seek you and your guidance. May we never bring dishonor upon them by allowing our actions to do anything less than bring you praise! Thank you for giving us such a glorious heritage that we can be proud to carry on and share with our children and grandchildren! May we express our desire for freedom and liberty by first acknowledging our complete dependence on you if our cause is to succeed. We pray all these things in the Holy and Precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
