Our IT guy was all work and no fun person, he was always wired to his office network attending calls and responding. He was offline just 6 hours in a day. Nothing else seemed to be part of his life. His little son invited him to play a game of chess he responded “I have deadlines to meet and I have deliverable to make, please play with your Mom”. He could find time to neither take his Mom for hospital visit nor spend a quiet evening with his wife. It was all work and he wanted that promotion that he was aiming for. Promotions were announced and our guy made the cut. He was so overjoyed and decided to take his family out for dinner. Suddenly the whole world became dark in front of his eyes. He woke up to the smell of medicines and found out to be in ICU of a hospital, he has suffered a massive heart attack and in a critical condition. He could find someone standing near his bed; he drew himself up to look who it was. He was perplexed to see it was Yama who was standing there. Suddenly he remembered all the times that he neglected his little son, his wife and Mom. He wanted to relive those moments again. He requested Yama to go away as he has to spend the lost time with his family. Yama looked at him with an expression less face and replied “I have REAL DEAD LINES to meet and have deliverable to make “. I am looking for a promotion.
