Well....the day is almost here for Dalton to start a new adventure at K-State. We take him next Sunday. What a crazy mix of emotions! Happy, excited, sad....mainly proud. My hope and prayer was always to raise well adjusted, happy children who would grow up to be functioning members of society. I think Allen & I have done our job, now he ventures out of the nest. As the day draws closer, I find myself being weepy at odd times. From the moment he was born, this son of mine has held a very special place in my heart. Now, back to re-feathering the nest!
