Our Last boil was April 23rd and that was just to clean up the evaporator. The season for use was about ¾ of an average crop. We averaged about .37 gallons of syrup per tap. Our 5 year average is about .5 gallons of syrup per tap. Over all I believe the state and this part of the country had a below average season, but not by much. World production was as strong as ever.
