Our Lexington Division Sea Cadets spent the evening making boxes, and filling them with all sorts of letters, supplies and food for our deployed soldiers. After boxing them up, these packages will be shipped over-seas. Postage is a big issue in getting these packages out to our soldiers and if anyone could help our cadets out by giving us a small money-for-postage donation, our Lexington Division would greatly appreciate this, as would our soldiers. The cadets have really put a lot of time into helping our soldiers feel that we all are thinking, and appreciating the dangerous work they are doing. Earlier in the day, our Sea Cadets were at the Navy vs Air Force “Tailgate” party for the Navy in which they sold buttons and collected donations for these packages, but are still short postage money. Again, if anyone could help us out, this would be very helpful and appreciated.
