Our MSEP partner, Express Employment Professionals, has an immediate need for a Technician to work in Dahlgren, Virginia. Position Description:- Technical support is needed to support various asymmetric warfare programs. Candidates need to be either very strong hands-on mechanically or electrically. Ideal candidate would have ISO 9000/1 (or equivalent) experience and a proven quality control record with emphasis on mechanical and/or electrical manufacturing. Position Requirements:- . An ideal candidate has at least five years of experience supporting hands-on electrical or mechanical tasks. . Installation, repairing, replacing, and troubleshooting skills must all be demonstrated. . Drafting detailed reports providing technical recommendations. . Following established business processes in order to maintain consistency. . Participating in a team environment that involves a high degree of collaboration and personal responsibility. Position Responsibilities:- . Gain an understanding of the work processes to assemble and integrate electrical/mechanical components. . Follow detailed instructions for assemblies. . Provide feedback to processes to ensure consistency and quality control measures. . Troubleshoot performance and production issues, consolidate and report findings, and make recommendations to prevent future issues. Education Requirements:- . No degree is required, but technical degrees are preferred, as are professional certifications. Clearance Level:- .
