Our MSEP partner, Zeiders Enterprises, is seeking a Clinical Counselor in Mayport, Fla. Clinical Counselors provide short-term, solution-focused, non-psychiatric individual, couples, and group clinical intervention for eligible clients. Responsibilities:- . Conduct intake, screening, assessment, and referral of clients as appropriate. Based on the assessment, work with the client to establish an individual treatment plan outlining the goals of treatment. . Provide individual, couples and group counseling. . Offer prevention and education programs and services as practicable based on client needs. . Maintain all counseling case documentation in accordance with all applicable policies, laws and instructions. Required Qualifications:- . A minimum of a Masters Degree in Social Work from a graduate School of Social Work accredited by the Council on Social Work education; OR a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from a graduate program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy; OR a Doctoral degree in Psychology from a program accredited by the American Psychological Association . Clinical license/certification to provide clinical services as an independent practitioner (Acceptable licenses are: LCSW, LICSW, LMFT or Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP) . A minimum of two years of full-time clinical experience . Prior to hire, selected candidate must have three letter of reference from three clinical providers who have direct knowledge of the clinical providers clinical practice within the previous two years. The letters must be provided by licensed clinical social workers, marriage and family therapists, psychologists, or psychiatrists Desired Qualifications: . Professional experience working with military families or personal military lifestyle experience . Domestic violence experience . Knowledge of the difficulties of adjusting to general life stresses as well as those resulting from the requirements of military life and experience providing short-term counseling for those issues . Knowledge of standard documentation requirements for clinical casework . Knowledge of other available military and community referral resources appropriate for client .
