Our Mother is now home after suffering a massive stroke on July 30th and as the swelling on her brain continues to go down, her cognitivity is getting better. However, the paralysis and damage is permanent, and she continues to grow weaker every day. Unfortunately, she cant take anything to prevent another clot, which could happen again at anytime. She is enjoying being in her own home, being cared for by family members - under the guidance of our 3 nurses in the family, Nancy Johnston, Sterling Ream, and Natalie Dawn, and Hospice.
