"Our Responsibility" Scripture Ez 3:20-21 "Again, when a righteous man turns from his righteousness and does evil, and I put a stumbling-block before him, he will die. Since you did not warn him, he will die for his sin. The righteous things he did will not be remembered, and I will hold you accountable for his blood. But if you do warn the righteous man not to sin and he does not sin, he will surely live because he took warning, and you will have saved yourself." Observation We have a responsibility to ensure that we walk in the way that God calls us to. There is a responsibility on us to confess our sins and receive cleansing from God. This is a day by day process, a moment by moment necessity and the wonderful news is that He is faithful and just to cleanse us from our sins and make us righteous. We have received much and are called to restore others. We are not responsible for the response to our message but are responsible to give it. We must preach the gospel to ourselves first and then to others. Free will determines whether people respond to our warning or ignore it and this is between God and them. Once we have given our message in love, prayed for the recipients then we have fulfilled our responsibility. May we respond the prompting of the Holy Spirit and speak into the lives of those who are heading for death.
