New winner of the Horrible Customer Service award - first there was Ameritech, then CitiCard, then Comcast, and now...Travelocity. Reserved a hotel in Indianapolis, that turned out to be a dump. The itinerary says that Travelocity doesnt charge for cancellations, but the hotel might. So I cancelled with the hotel and got confirmation numbers. After 16 phone calls, now Travelocity refuses to refund, because the hotel did the cancellation directly. When you call Travelocity, you get their offshore call center, with numerous people trained to keep you on hold for 30+ minutes, while clumsily explaining that their policy prevents them from helping.
