Our Spotlight Series on Interventions continues with Barbara Bock, our Interventionist at Freedom Institute. We asked her to talk about why she does interventions. Heres what she had to say: I do interventions because I believe even under the most stressful circumstances, every person wants to lead a life worth living. When someone’s addiction gets too out of control that it rules their capacity to think in a rational, reasonable way or when the family is going through its own parallel process and they feel as though they are falling off the ledge, an intervention can make a difference. If I am able to help families guide their loved ones toward an opportunity for health and wellness, well then, let’s go for it!!
