Our TAB Special Operations Cycling Kids (SOCKS) unit went into action last night. A small but elite group of cyclists launched a very successful asphalt sortie deep across the state line. 5 fearless riders braved the winds, the roads, dogs, and a little rain and came home victorious. John Kirtos was coordinating our attack and was prepared to assist in evac should we be overcome on the roads. Our battle was not without costs. We have one casualty to report as Kendra Lake-Carroll sustained a nasty bee-sting during the ride but was able to maintain her composure and complete the mission. Thanks to all who showed up to ride last night. This new route will likely be our new regular route for the remainder of the season. All seemed to approve and the roads really are in excellent condition (for now anyways). Pictured below - Lt. Dan Riley, TAB Special Operations. He loves it when a plan comes together. :)
