Our Trip to Boston didnt turn out quite as we had hoped. While there is very slight improvement in the upper part of her spine the curvature at the bottom has actually gotten worse. She has grown so much since January when she first got brace that they feel this has impacted its(brace) ability to do what its supposed to. New measurements taken and brace to be made(hoping insurance will cover a 2nd one in less than a year) and her journey continues. The doctor assures us that we are still in the fight but she may face back surgery in the future if this doesnt work. A bridge we will cross when /if we get to it...in the meantime well pray. On another note, our trip, as usual, taught us how grateful we need to be for our circumstances. We met an amazing young woman with same problem plus several more orthopedic issues that chatted away with us with a huge smile on her face. Feeling very grateful!!
