Our amazing new home has a most intimate feeling to it. When on stage you can almost touch the audience and from the seats you can sense the emotions on the actors face. Its been a long, terrible struggle but when we finally get in there all suffering will cease and all will wonder Why didnt Jefferson Parish build this sooner? I want to thank President John Young and the JP Council for standing by JPAS and naming us Resident Artistic Company. And of course I cannot express too strongly my humble appreciation to our Board of Directors and my soon to be 100 years old Co-Founder, the beautiful and devoted Hannah Cunningham. Finally, thanks to the late Senate President John Hainkel, the current Senate President John Alario, Jr for their immense contributions to this project and especially the late Senator Ken Hollis for his dogged persistence to keep it alive during its darkest financial moments. Now its time for JPAS to fulfill our destiny and serve our community through great art and education. God Bless America!
