Our associated religioustolerance.org web site first went online in 1995-APR during the infancy of the Internet when there were only a few thousand web sites in existence. Back in 2010, I thought it might be a good idea have a facebook page. I found three facebook pages that already had the name Religious Tolerance. But all were inactive. This facebook group was the result. I am currently doing another search on facebook and found an enormous number of pages and groups devoted to religious tolerance -- 23 and counting. Almost all of them are inactive. Even the most active one averaged fewer than 1 posting every other day. This group has clearly succeeded in the numbers of members, the frequency of their postings, and the quality of their writings. The groups success is very largely due to the enthusiasm and dedication of the admins. Their task is not an easy one because of the controversial & sensitive topics here! They really deserve our thanks.
