Our big adventure - Day 6. I can hardly believe it - we are finally here!! Only about 8 hours driving today. We arrived at the Brigadoon Equestrian Centre at 3pm and took the horses off the truck for the last time for a few weeks, they have been more and more reluctant to go back on the truck every time we have had them off in the last few days. One of the places we had a rest stop today was at Southern Cross, where they have put all the names from the original cemetery up on boards with their ages and cause of death. It was really scary to see so many toddlers up there with a cause of death as "teething". Thank heavens modern medicine has advanced so much since the 18 hundreds. We are really thrilled with our horse accommodation, they have lovely paddocks with green grass and shelters right next door to the equestrian centre, so they are going to have a really lovely holiday.
