Our big newborn is in a Chicco Keyfit 22. We had the infant inserts in but the bottom shoulder straps seem way too low, well below armpit level and extremely difficult to put her arms in. According to the manual the insert is to be used on the lowest shoulder setting and up to 11lbs, but it seems optional - we removed them and moved the shoulder straps up, but now the shoulders are too high. I cant figure out if its okay to just remove the inserts and keep the shoulders on the lowest height setting, because I feel like then it would fit perfectly!?
