Our booth may be full, colorful, a little cramped and quite a bit crazy, but our mission statement is not to convince anyone to fill their homes with needless stuff - Far from it! We at Vault 32 lead lives of fairly minimalistic home decor and despite having a full booth, we are strong believers in less is more. We also believe that these days, there are even less items of quality craftsmanship, purpose and function, creative energy or design aesthetic that are available from the general market. We honestly feel everything we choose to offer fits one or more of those areas- at the very least, the they dont make em like that anymore category. Whether you live in a large, minimal loft or an efficient tiny home, there are always those few items that are worth having, worth saving, worth repairing and passing on to friends or family- whether they are just the things that make you smile, the containers you keep those things inside, or the furniture you display them on. We dont want you to buy everything in our booth- we want to supply enough options so that everyone can find that ONE thing that simultaneously brightens, has purpose and tells a story in their home. Most of all, we truly enjoy being the rescuers, repairers, cleaners and caretakers of the rare, weird and cool stuff that would otherwise be lost to history and in a landfill. Every time we find something we havent seen before that we love on gut instinct, we obsessively research it when we appraise and price it- and we have learned so much about how our items were made, and the amazing companies and designers that produced them (who the good designers still emulate today!)
