Our boy, LEROY is not doing well and we are asking for your help. Leroy was adopted through us 5-6 years ago and returned when his family fell on hard times. He was missing hair on most of his body, skin red and inflamed - but his tail was still wagging and spirit unbroken. Fast forward to today - the treatment for his skin weakened his already damaged immune system and a tiny lesion on his toe opened the door to not one but THREE nasty, antibiotic resistant bacteria. According to the sensitivity tests that were run, 2 were resistant to ALL antibiotics tested. Leroys precious life is in danger. We are turning to alternative/holistic medicine in the hopes that by building up Leroys immune system we will give him the power to fight off the infection. His reports have been sent to Dr Judith Shoemaker and we hope to get him in ASAP. This is not without cost.
