Our car stalled on the freeway today!! Thought Id never say this but Yay for traffic! We were only going about 30mph...in the carpool lane. I quickly thought to put it into neutral and start it again. It worked and we were able to get safely off the freeway. Called our mechanic - probably transmission. We were on our way to a friends sukkot party down south and had to call triple A and then find a rental car. All the smaller car rentals close at 1 on Saturdays! So we ended up getting to the Ontario Airport car rentals! Triple A towed the car to our mechanic who stayed late just to receive it. Hes getting a nice big box of chocolate for that favor! It was already too late to drive another hour and half to the party so we stopped and had a bite to eat and drove the rental car home. Whew! At least were alright but we were so sad to miss our friends party.
