Our children and many churches are teaching evolution. So, according to this theory, everything that you see in this world is the result of a random purposeless accident. Man is the product of evolution. Let’s ask ourselves the question, “What is evolution?” The theory of evolution teaches: A. About 3 to 4 billion years ago, there was a large bubbling inorganic ocean consisting of: (1) Nitrogen – Ammonia salts (2) Methane – Carbon dioxide B. Then puff – the following happened. (1) There arose amino acids (2) There arose poly peptides (3) There arose protein molecules C. The theory of evolution is that: (1) Non living matter rose upward in complexity to form living matter (2) Then living matter rose upward in complexity to form conscience matter (3) Then conscience matter rose upward into complexity to become self-conscious. D. So the theory of evolution assumes the upward progression from: (1) Chaos to greater and greater organization. (2) From simplicity to greater and greater complexity. (3) Thus we have the theory that life came from non-living matter to living matter. (4) All this was by chance and natural selection. (5) Thus we have the belief in “the survival of the fittest.” God is presented as someone sitting back wondering what is happening that eventually loved an advanced ape.
