Our church joined in prayer for my nephew, David, on Sunday evening. It was so blessed to see and hear the saints of the Lord calling out for Gods help for David, and for some other folks that had real health needs. David is in the ICU at Emory being treated for Lung failure. He got and infection while being treated there for leukemia and receiving a Bone Marrow Transplant. The infection cause a sever Lung function failure and we thought he might not make it. Everyone prayed. He was placed on an ECMO machine to bypass his lungs to see if they would recover. The team of Dr.s and Assistants went above and beyond getting him on that machine to save his life at the stroke of Midnight on New Years Eve. I was walking in the hall with my bro. in law, Terry, and heard the cheers of some staff in the break room as the New Year rang in. Because of the care of come great physicians and staff at Emory, and to the Glory of the Great Physician in Heaven, David rang in the New Year with Life and an Oxygen level of 100%. Yesterday afternoon about 4, the Team in the ICU were able to remove the ECMO and David is breathing. The Dr. told us that he made it over that hurdle and is doing well. God is at work in Davids life. Keep Praying and anticipating what God will do.
