Our client, a leading international contractor is currently seeking a Commercial Manager to join them for a large scale project based in Qatar The ideal candidate will be responsible for the project overall commercial function and to provide commercial assistance to ensure projects successful completion, coordinate with various departments to maintain information and commercial position on the project. Other duties will include: Preparing early stage budgets and detailed cost plans perform risk, value management and cost control, identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks, establishing and operating cost and financial control systems. Monitor incoming and outgoing client correspondence, identify possible commercial risks and opportunities and report to the Project Controls Manager for further action, Support Managers with day commercial activities on project. Prepare, monitor and update CCS Validations and Project Financial reports with Project Controls and proficient in successfully negotiating claims and arbitration. You will have:- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying Chartered to a recognised body Minimum of 20+ years experience as a Commercial Manager on large scale/iconic building or infrastructure projects including rail or metro. Previous Middle East experience would be an advantage but not essential In return our client is offering a tax free salary + benefits
